The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed regarding the high amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of more info infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the website area every day. The provider point produced for intervention activities a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a sassa service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
